So bacon and eggs are not the be all or end all. Many other cultures, for example south east Asia include rice or noodles as part of there first meal. A dish that is often eaten as lunch or dinner in North America, PHO, is typically a breakfast in Vietnam. Similarly in China, leftover rice is consumed almost like porridge with the addition of more leftovers...lol. In Latin countries, tortillas are as much consumed for breakfast, as any other part of the day. Huevos Rancheros comes to mind.
I love bacon, eggs, hash browns and croissants as much anybody, but let's change it up a bit! Breakfast is also fast to prepare, economical and healthy.
Cheers, and happy cooking!
