Introducing Marcel, Admiral at the Captains Quarters.

We invite you to experience one of the most exciting properties in St. John's. The Captain Quarters Hotel a 178-year-old building has been restored to maintain its magnificent historical features, while providing a wide array of modern convenience for our guests who are visiting St. John's, Newfoundland. So, thats the online bit I found...I think we can do better, but first the back story. I first came to Newfoundland in the late Spring of 2021. I was hired as a chef consultant for a small boutique hotel at the tip of the Gros More national park in Norris Point, a long way from St Johns. Having finished up my deeds there, I took 2 weeks holidays in St Johns. Upon arriving at the airport, I asked my taxi driver to take me to a reasonable air b&b, whatever that means. Long story short, I ended up at the Captains Quarters Hotel in downtown St Johns. At first glance it looks a little sketchy, but upon looking further, its actually a beautiful structure. As noted above its a gothic Edwardian Architectural beauty. The rooms are nice, comfortable with all the basic amenities. Throughout the building you will find interesting art and memorabilia. breakfast is included in the room package, and is served from 7-10 AM each morning. Anyway, here is a little blurb from my friend Marcel, owner and native son of St Johns.

Thanks for popping by! be sure to give Marcel a shout before you head to Newfoundland, and if you need travel help be sure to contact my go to travel company, Expedia tours!
